I have an almost Friday finish to celebrate this week!
The Disney Babies memory quilt top is together and ready for borders...
Ugh... If I had done a few this way, and a few the other it would have been fine. 😠I just hate when I do something like this... at least it is a quick project and I should be able to get it done Sunday afternoon. Oh, guess what. I'll be purchasing some jingle bells for the new stocking. LOL!
Saturday afternoon I am participating in an "Author's Market" event here in town... I'll be promoting my Pieces From the Past book and quilt.
What are YOUR plans for the weekend?
Leave a comment... I'd love to hear from you!
Keep piecing,
Melva

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty, cozy scene with the tree and stockings! I can't tell you how many times I've done something like that. I'm glad you'll have time to get it done, and yes, definitely jingle bells!
ReplyDeleteCute Disney babies top! Good luck fixing the stocking, it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy, such cute grands you have! I have been absent from blogland, just busy, so am catching up! The Sante Fe quilt is just stunning! Are you considering another one for 2022? I too, and working on a Christmas stocking, cross stitched by the same designer used for my daughter’s, so the new son-in-love will have one that matches. (He never had one, so it was an obvious project!) it’s going to be close, so very little blogging go8ng in here at the moment! Christmas blessings to you and yours, thanks for the the soup recipe.
ReplyDeleteeverything is looking so cosy! I need to re-make a stocking, too. I hope mine goes the right direction!
ReplyDeleteThe stocking is lovely! Even if it's going the "wrong" way, you could always start a new tradition! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to TGIFF!
Is your book Pieces of the Past available somewhere? I loved reading the ones you posted.
ReplyDeleteI do have a book available. :) Please email me at MelvaLovesScraps(@)NolanQualityCustoms(dot)com and I will give you details about payment and shipping costs.
DeleteSo I admit I laughed at the backwards stocking - that is totally something I would do... and probably do over a few times to get it right! Directional things hurt my brain! but it is a beautiful stocking!
ReplyDeleteI love your stockings, pretty Christmas decorations!
